About UsMark Alger began teaching guitar in 1985. In 2000 he moved to Orem Utah and took over direction of the Wasatch School of Music - a private classical guitar studio. At that time, Mark began specializing in teaching children classical guitar using the Suzuki Method. Since then, hundreds of children have enjoyed music lessons with Mark and developed solid skill and technique. In 2014 'The Wasatch School of Music' was renamed 'Wasatch Classical Guitar' to more accurately reflect the studio focus. Mark's excellent sense of humor makes music lessons with him very entertaining. Come join the fun!
Mark enjoys camping and hiking in the gorgeous Utah mountains with his wife and children. He also enjoys meeting new people, reading about history, cooking and working outdoors. |
