Classical Guitar Tuition
"What does my tuition pay for?"
Your fee is a monthly retainer, not an exact calculation. Although it is based upon a per lesson charge it should not be considered as such but is a reflection of the enrollment of your child in a continual (not weekly, monthly, or seasonal) program. Payment pays for your instruction, retains your time slot and covers costs incurred by the studio to provide student recitals and performance opportunities in the community.
"How much do I pay and how often?"
Students attending lessons at the studio in Orem pay the following rates:
- For a student receiving 30 minutes of private instruction per week tuition is $90 per month.
- For a student receiving 45 minutes of private instruction per week tuition is $120 per month.
Monthly payment is due the first week of the month.
"How much does it cost to participate in the group class?"
There is no extra charge to participate in ensemble classes for students enrolled in the Wasatch Guitar classical guitar program! Attending group class is part of the program and all students who have reached a sufficient level of proficiency are to participate.
"What is the policy for rescheduling and make-up lessons?"
Make-ups will be offered on the basis of availability. We are extremely interested in making sure that each student has consistent instruction. Contact us as soon as you know you'll need to reschedule a lesson. Please keep in mind though, that make-ups are
not required on our part and there are no refunds for lessons missed.
"What happens with tuition and make-ups when my family takes an extended vacation?"
As far as make-ups are concerned it is almost impossible to make up a month's worth of missed lessons. Fortunately, if enough advance notice is given, we can provide information and possibly materials to help the student practice and keep progressing during the vacation. Tuition should be paid to retain your place in the program.
"Are Online Lessons available during a pandemic?"
Yes! Zoom, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, Skype there are so many options. Some are better at different times of the day. let me know what you prefer!
